Graphic Packaging Selects BST Premius Defect Detection Systems

After an extensive review and evaluation of the various defect detection systems on the market, Graphic Packaging has selected BST Premius as the detection system system of choice, manufactured by BST Pro Mark®. Graphic Packaging has ordered two systems with defect detection, automatic color and bar code monitoring, UV detection and other features, which will be installed in the Graphic Packaging Lawrenceburg, Tennessee facility on wide web Gravure pressess which print ten colors and UV coating on LDPE.

A team of persons at Graphic Packaging in Lawrenceburg, headed by Mr. Paul King and Mr. John Paley, conducted a four month evaluation and analysis of the various system on the market, which included features comparisions, web tests, site visits and interviews with operators of the various systems.
