QC PACKAGING SELECTS BST Premius PRINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Elmhurst, Illinois: QC Packaging of Mississauga, Ontario Canada has purchased a BST Premius print management system, which will be installed on their new Arpeco 10 color press.

The Premius system ordered includes print defect detection, automatic color monitoring and in-line bar code verification, and will be fully integrated into the press controls, with an 18" graphic user touch screen and a 21 " monitor on articulated arms.

BST Pro Mark® is fast establishing itself as the supplier of choice for on press print management, with more than 150 Premius systems sold in over 30 countries in the past eighteen months.

QC Packaging specializes in short run folding cartons with high-impact graphics and a wide range of special decorations such as in-line foil stamping, lamination and embossing. The company operates a 50,000 square foot facility with on site digital workflow pre-press, IMS ink management, and an extensive QC laboratory.
